WE ARE HERE TO CHANGE THE GAME
For the last fifty years, Libertarians have set out to do just that. It has been an uphill trek with many obstacles. In spite of the challenges, we have proven we are here to stay, and through perseverance, cooperation, and straight up hard work, we show the Duopoly that they should never ignore the underdog.
While you are reading this, many Republicans and Democrats in Austin are actively seeking ways to keep us from the ballot. With intentional stealth, system manipulation, and outright threats, they work to keep our candidates off the ballots in Texas and restrict who we are able to nominate.
Two years ago, for the first time in its history, LPTexas had eyes and ears in the Capitol full-time. It was a small step in the right direction. Now, thanks to leaders with vision and volunteers willing to work, we have more staff armed with better tools. They will be spending more time to keep us informed on what’s happening in Austin.

As of January 10th, the 88th Texas Legislative Session is in full swing and LPTexas has full-time boots on the ground to keep us posted on happenings and how we can help.
WE NEED THEM THERE
To keep them there, we have an immediate need to raise $15,000. Your generous contribution today goes straight to our lobbying efforts. It keeps our legislative staff in Austin where they can engage with representatives and committees on a daily basis. It allows them to coordinate the efforts of teams of LPTexas volunteers who travel to Austin.
The other parties know we won’t be the underdog forever. They know that given the chance, we could win the game, and even the folks in the stands would be winners. Let’s show up to show them that they can’t keep us from the field forever.
